| Description | Credit Valley Hospital (CVH) is one of the three main sites of Trillium Health Partners (THP) * 382-bed acute care inpatient facility * 24-hour emergency care centre * offering a full range of acute care hospital services, as well as a variety of community-based, specialized programs * regional leader in specialized programs for clinical genetics, renal, maternal-child care and oncology, as well as core clinical programs in general medicine, surgery, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and cardiac services * maternity ward * oncology (study and treatment of tumors) * renal (kidney) services * ambulatory care * asthma education * cardiac rehabilitation Geriatric Emergency Management - Specialized emergency room care and follow-up support for older adults who may need in-home supports, other medical specialists, or community services Diabetes Education Program - Information about living with diabetes * includes monitoring, blood sugar levels, food choices, exercise, medications, and lifestyle choices Regional women’s and children’s health centre - featuring an advanced level 2 neonatal intensive care unit and largest pediatric oncology satellite program in Ontario outside of the Hospital for Sick Children |
