Description & Services
Description The Conservation Youth Corps program (CYC) engages youth from all over the CVC watershed in hands-on, environmental stewardship and restoration work. During the summer, high school students work on crews of 9 youth alongside 1 CVC staff and other community partners to help “nurture nature in our community." For one week in the summer, volunteers will help with projects like stream restoration, habitat creation, and removing invasive species. Each week, CYC'ers learn first-hand the impacts that environmental issues like climate change have on our local ecosystems.
