| Description | Oakwood Academy is a private school offering individualized education for students with special needs. Our curriculum focuses on social and emotional development in addition to academic, communication, life skills and physical goals. We are a multi-disciplinary team including; Ontario Certified Teachers, Developmental Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Music Therapist and Physiotherapist. Oakwood offers a range of programs including a 1:1 program (part-time and full-time), small classroom sizes (1:4 and 1:7), social skills groups, virtual consultation services, parent support group, parent coaching, etc. |
