Description 24-hour emergency shelters provide up to 54 beds in a safe, secure confidential setting where women, Two-Spirit, gender queer, trans and non-binary folks and their children experiencing any form of violence in the Region of Peel and beyond can stay up to 4 months. Provides support in the following areas: supportive counselling, support groups, advocacy, accompaniment, information and/or assistance on financial, legal and housing. 
The 24-hour Crisis Support Line Program provides immediate support to survivors in the community experiencing any form of violence. As a client-centered program, clients define and identify their needs and what types of supports they want to access. Support can take many forms, including immediate crisis support and intervention, risk assessment and safety planning, emotional support, referrals to other services, information-sharing, problem-solving and intake into the Shelter Program.

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
All women and two-spirit, genderqueer, trans and non-binary people who are 16 years of age and older, with or without dependents, and who have experienced, are currently experiencing, or are at risk of experiencing any form violence; 
People waiting to provide testimony at a court proceeding relating to the sexual assault; 
Dependents including children and family members in the care of a person seeking shelter services, including cis-male dependent(s) up to and including 18 years of age. If a cis-male dependent is older than 18, consultation with the Program Manager will occur prior to intake; 
Services can be provided to people regardless of their geographical location.
