Description Provides legislative services to Council and its committees * provides statutory requirements of the municipal clerk under the Municipal Act 2001 * conducts regular municipal elections every 4 years and bi-elections as may be required * processes applications under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and provides advice on related matters to all departments * administers statutory requirements under the authority of the Registrar General of Ontario for deaths and marriage licences * issues business licences under the provisions of the City's Business Licensing By-law, and lottery licences under the authority of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
