Alternate Name Sheridan College Academic Upgrading Program
Description Academic Upgrading * helps individuals acquire the necessary skills for entry into college post-secondary programs, apprenticeship programs or employment. Courses include English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Basic/Advanced Computers, Strategies for Success and Employability Skills. Students receive an assessment of current academic skills, a training plan and a program tailored to personal goals * the Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) certificate is equivalent to grade 12 OSSD for college admission, apprenticeship or employment

Sheridan offers four programs to assist those that need to improve their skills in order to enter a post-secondary college program, an apprenticeship program or for employment:
Academic upgrading: English * math * biology * chemistry * for college entrance
Hours Office Mon-Fri 9:00am - 4:00pm 
Classes are offered during the day from 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm and 6:30-9:30pm.
Dates Program Intake Months: September, January, May
Areas Served Greater Toronto Area ; Halton Region ; Peel Region
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
Minimum 18 years of age (some exceptions may apply). 
Minimum Canadian Language Benchmark 6 in Speaking and Listening if English is not your first language (Canadian Language Benchmarks assessment report required). 
All applicants are assessed in order to determine individual student's entry-level.
Fees None - No tuition fees for the program ; No tuition fees for the program; $40 one time registration fee
