Is responsible for leading other volunteers as they actively research and seek out potential community organization sponsorship partners. The Coordinator will also be responsible for helping to develop and produce material necessary to raise awareness of Single Mothers in Progress. 
 
The successful volunteer will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and promotions. Duties of the role include: 
 
- recommending changes, writing, proofreading, reviewing, and updating website content  
- developing effective e-communication strategies to target website audiences 
- researching social media outlets 
- working with an editing company, compiling, and editing video for various audiences such as SMIP's website, YouTube, potential sponsors, and other marketing needs

It's a job that requires a person who enjoys living in two different worlds: understanding the psychology of human consumers and breaking down and analyzing raw statistical data.  
 
Facilitate the purchase of advertising space and on-air time in a variety of media including print, radio, TV, outdoor and digital.  
 
Closely analyze data, research and ratings to develop the most cost efficient advertising models and campaigns for their clients.  
 
Work with the overall team to determine marketing objectives, demographics and needs while negotiating with media for the best possible rates.
