Opportunity Details
Duties of Role1. Support individuals to participate fully in activities 
2. Assist staff in facilitating workshops 
3. Act as a positive role model and provide encouragement when needed 
4. To be reliable – arrive on time, keep all scheduled appointments 
5. To assist staff members when needed 
6. Determine and ask for help and support when needed  
7. Communicate openly with Supervisor and Manager of Volunteer Services
Benefit(s) to the VolunteerThere are a variety of opportunities available to individuals each day including: cooking, fitness, computers, art, and also opportunities in the community such as swimming, sailing, visits to the library or horseback riding.

Qualifications/Certification1. Attend a personal interview with the Manager of Volunteer Services 
2. Provide two (2) references – at least one must be a professional reference 
3. Have a Police Background Check (vulnerable sector screening) completed and submitted to the Manager of Volunteer Services prior to the start of volunteering
