Description/Eligibility/Service Details
Description	Asthma education program * Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Registered Nurse (trained and educated on asthma control and management) works with patients to customize a written action plan * provides information on the asthma airways * early and late warning signs * how to avoid or reduce exposure to common asthma 'trigger' * medication usage (as per physician prescription) * individualized action plan and asthma diary * how to monitor your Asthma with a Peak Flow meter (if appropriate) * follow up as required * Routine Spirometry will be performed, at the beginning of each session, for those who are able to do the maneuver
