| Description | Seniors Life Enhancement Centres provides two adult day programs, designed for Mississauga residents who have memory loss, are frail or have physical disabilities which interfere with their capacity to function independently. The goal of the programs is to provide stimulating social, recreational and physical activities that enhance the quality of life and promote independence. Our programs also provide caregivers with an opportunity for respite from their caring role. The Gathering Place Program Adult day program for seniors with physical disabilities, and/or mild cognitive impairment Circle of Friends Program Adult day program for memory impaired and/or frail seniors in a secured setting Both programs offer Restorative Care, Daily Exercise Programs (STEPS and HSEP), Montessori Programming, and Aphasia Communication activities. The Daydreams Salon and Spa located within the Centre offers Oral Care, Hairdressing & Barbering, Esthetics, and Foot Care services while the client attends the program. These services are also available to the caregivers. Transportation options can be provided by Red Cross, Transhelp, taxi or by family drivers.
