| Description | The Peel Elder Abuse Support Program’s aim is to increase awareness about elder abuse and support those older adults in the Region of Peel that are experiencing abuse. Our program has specially trained volunteers, that answer a dedicated line to offer listening, emotional support and information. Program Facilitator for Seniors provides individualized support in the way of advocacy, counselling and referrals to other community agencies. Services are free and can be accessed by not only older adults experiencing abuse but family, friends, caregivers or anyone in the community with a concern.
