DescriptionOntario Inter-Cultural Community Services (OICS) fosters community socio-economic development through skills, counselling, training to people in need without any discrimination

Settlement Services - provides information about newcomer resources and settlement services (provided on walk-in basis) * information about employment opportunities * low cost housing * education * health and childcare services * community supports * recreational activities * information and referrals to community resources and services * provides practical help with the problems of everyday living through one-on-one and group orientation sessions * help completing government documents

Translation And Interpretation Services - provides free translation of documents and referrals * Commissioner of Oath's attestation provided * interpretation services for those having difficulty in communicating in English

Volunteer Placement And Skills Development - provides comprehensive volunteer placement / mentorship opportunities to new Canadians and professionals looking for marketable employment experience to enter the Canadians workforce in their respective fields

Employment Support Services - provides information about programs and services for professionals * employment opportunities for international trained professional, skilled people * job search skills * international credential evaluation and assessment * youth programs and services

Small Enterprise Development - encourages women and youth to start their own business * assists clients with business development and skills development * provides individual and group counseling for business management

Family Violence And Supportive Counselling - provides supportive counseling for family and domestic violence * referrals for legal aid and professional support * women's support groups for life management skills * effective parenting resources and information

People With Disabilities - provides individual counselling for people with various disabilities * life management and rehabilitation group session * employment support and placement services * information and referral for Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)

Youth Initiatives - provides training and recreation activities for youth at risk * after-school activities and tutoring program

Seniors Program - programs of interest to seniors * joint recreational activities for families, children, youth and seniors * serves senior residents from various backgrounds * reaches out to seniors to break their isolation and use their depth of knowledge, skills and inheritance by offering various productive and interactive activities
