Description	The Rexdale Women's Centre is an independent, not-for-profit, voluntary agency that serves high-need women and their family members    Support for Women and Families offers the following services:    Short Term Supportive Counselling: The Centre’s staff provides culturally and linguistically appropriate support to women when they encounter difficulties in moving ahead by providing them with critical pieces of information that enables them to have the confidence in making the right decisions and to overcome personal obstacles and crisis    Employment and Career Counselling: Provides assistance to immigrant, racialized and refugee women determine their career and employment needs and goals. Linkages are made with other employment related services in the community, as well as English language classes, training, apprenticeship and volunteer opportunities. With the right connections and supports, women can navigate the system more effectively    Employment Support Groups for Women: Provides employment support groups for women in their own language and helps them to identify strengths and address gaps they face when seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce
