DescriptionAdult Day Services 
India Rainbow Community Services engages South Asian seniors to participate in various stimulating activities and clinics that are beneficial for seniors in maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle preventing falls, reducing ER visits and delaying early institutionalization. 
Adult Day Program provides social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to older adults with physical and cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer's disease, Dementia, Parkinson, Stroke victims and frail elderly.  
• Extensive exercise program 
• Mental and social activities 
• Music therapy 
• Horticultural therapy 
• Foot care 
• Secure area 
• Healthy breakfast and vegetarian South Asian lunch provided. special diet available. 
Additional Services: 
• Friendly visiting offered by trained volunteers for home bound clients 
• Security/reassurance check 
• Medication reminders 
• Caregiver counselling and education 
• Counselling and support service for caregivers on responsive behavior (BSO) 
• Toileting, diaper assistance 
• Feeding assistance  
• Transportation assistance - help in accessing service from TransHelp, Red Cross, Seniors Rides Connect, Caledon Community Services and Passenger Assistance Program

Program hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5:30pm

FeesProgram - $17/day for regular hours (10am-4pm); $20/day for extended hours (8am-5:30pm) ; Program Fee:  
$17/day for regular hours - 10:00AM to 4:00PM  
$20/day for extended hours - 8:00AM to 5:30PM  
Fee subsidy available - Client/Caregiver to complete subsidy form * Fee assistance available for eligible clients (depends on financial assessment). Client/Cargiver to complete subsidy form.
