Description	Brampton Woods is a 3-storey 160-bed (64 basic, 96 private) long-term care facility. It offers 10 convalescent care beds.    Services offered include:  Care for dementia, challenging behaviors, the frail elderly, palliative care or high intensity needs care  Registered dietitian consultant services  Physiotherapy services (no charge)  Additional therapy services (such as occupational therapy, speech and language pathology) can be arranged by the facility at the resident/family's request through the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) or arranged at a minimal cost to the resident should they choose to use the consultant therapist  Non-smoking facility    Long-term care residences, also known as nursing homes and homes for the aged, are operated by private companies, local governments and not-for-profit organizations, and are regulated by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.    Accommodation rates, which are set by the provincial government on an annual basis, include:   24-hr nursing and personal care  Medical care and medical supplies  Personal hygiene supplies and equipment  All meals and snacks  Social, recreational and physical activities programs  Laundry services and daily housekeeping including residents' personal clothing and labeling  Separate charges apply for special medications, private telephone line, escort services, cable TV and other items that are fully explained prior to completion of the admission contract    Operated by Leisureworld Inc.
