DescriptionEpilepsy Halton Peel Hamilton offers the following services:

Child & Youth Support Services - provides in-school training for teachers and boards * provides information and tools to improve teaching methods * provides accommodations and safety planning guides * provides training for camp leaders and/or coaches to make sure that children with epilepsy receive the same opportunities to participate as others * offers scholarship opportunities when available
Provides individual and family counseling for families, parents and teens * facilitates the introduction of educational material for schools and boards * hosts special events to increase public awareness and public education about childhood epilepsy and the effects it has on learning

Employment Services - provides educational outreach and support to members * Provides individual and family counseling and support * includes weekly support groups and peer mentoring * employment counseling and safety training * provides parent matching is available for parents of children with epilepsy * hosts special events to increase public awareness and public education about epilepsy and the effects it has on the lives of adults

Volunteer Services - offers volunteer opportunities for community members to help the association with administrative services * fundraising * education * leadership * mentoring * volunteer board positions
