Description	Offers the following services:    EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS / INFORMATION SESSIONS   Topics of interest or concern to seniors facilitated by local professionals    CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM  Leadership Training and Skills Development workshops for program participant seniors    INTERGENERATIONAL PROGRAM  Provides forum for seniors and youth to connect and work together in activities that will build bridges of understanding as well as promote intergenerational learning opportunities between seniors and youth    ACTIVE LIVING AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE PROMOTION PROGRAM    FRIENDLY VISITING AND SECURITY CHECK PROGRAM  For all seniors and older adults in the Brampton-Bramalea area who have a long term illness/disability or who are isolated  Provides trained volunteers to help clients (such as regular social time, going for a walk, shopping or simply to keep company with clients)  Volunteers can help by making phone calls, writing a letter, reading, or taking part in a social activity such as playing games  Friendly Visiting Volunteers spend an average of 1-2hrs per week with a client    ELDER ABUSE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM    WEEKLY GROUP MEETINGS  Social recreational activities such as: games; craft; exercise; bus outings; sing-a-longs; pot luck lunches; monthly birthday celebrations; special event celebrations; cultural sharing; etc  Provides referrals to appropriate agencies, as well as advocates on behalf of clients

Fees	Membership - $15/yr ; Service - None
