|Description||Group Services offers a broad spectrum of groups and workshops related to child and family functioning in order to help children and youth meet developmental expectations at home, in school and in the community. These services are designed to: |
- help parents and children develop strategies for coping with the concerns in their lives
- give opportunities for parents and/or children to interact and learn from each other
- provide information for parents on specific issues.
Group Services are free of charge. Peel Children's Centre staff facilitate the groups and childcare is available for most groups.
Note: some treatment groups require an assessment to determine appropriateness for the specific group.

|Services offered include:||Group Services is an out-client service that offers a broad spectrum of group service options related to child and family functioning, in order to help the child meet developmental expectations in home, school and the community. Group Services provides an opportunity for parents and children to learn new skills to help them cope. Their feeling of competence in managing their specific challenges will be enhanced by the mutual aid provided in these groups. |
