Description/Eligibility/Service Details
DescriptionOffers help to children and youth with disruptive and aggressive behaviour, and their parents. Treatment options include: 
 
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY 
Offers therapy for children, adolescents and families to help them learn new ways to deal with problems leading to and arising from aggression. 
 
GROUP THERAPY 
Incredible Years Parenting Program: 14-week psycho-education/training group for parents of children (4-12yrs). Group promotes positive behaviour in children, reduces parents' stress, improves the relationship between parent and child, and lessens aggressive behaviour in children. 
Dinosaur Social Skills Program: 18-week group for children (6-8yrs). Teaches children positive ways to communicate, solve problems, deal with anger, build self-esteem and develop social skills. 
 
DAY TREATMENT 
CATCH Program: 19-week day treatment program, for children (6-8yrs) with disruptive behaviour disorders that interfere with normative development at home, school and in the community. 
 
CHILDREN'S AGGRESSION MULTIDISCIPLINARY PROGRAM (CAMP) 
Research program studying the possible causes of aggressive behaviour.
Services offered include:A program designed to help parents manage their children's disruptive behaviour and to improve their relationships with their children. Has been proven to reduce: children's aggresive and disruptive behaviour, parent's report of stress. Has been proven to increase: children's positive behaviours and social skills, parent's reports of confidence in parenting, parents' effectiveness in disciplining their children.
