Description/Eligibility/Service Details
DescriptionOffers medication outpatient consultation for individuals with schizophrenia or schizo-affective disorders, who are having difficulty with their antipsychotic medication. Evaluates the effectiveness of clients' medications in controlling symptoms, assesses any side effects, and addresses any antipsychotic-induced movement disorders. Aims to find a medication best suited to clients needs. Tries to see everyone in an assessment/ consultation within 2 months of having the necessary information.
