Description	MMA was established in 1999 and registered as a not-for-profit organization on August 20, 1999. Its members are mainly newcomers who settled in Mississauga and its surrounding areas in the recent years.    MMA provides a variety of activity groups to serve the needs of its members by building partnerships whith others to enable the services delivery. Each year, MMA will host large cultural events such as the Spring Festival to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Karaoke competition, Seniors' outdoor trip, Summer Fun Time, Mid-Autumn Festival and Christmas party, etc. MMA does fundraisings on behalf of Canada Red Cross to support victims of disasters.    Activity groups include: youth empowerment, seniors happy house, community service group, art & culture group, sport and hobbies group, business and professional networking.
