Description Sierra Club Peel is a non-profit group of concerned citizens (volunteers) who carry out environmental campaigns and collaborate with like minded groups on environmental projects in the Region of Peel  
 
Aims to educate, enlighten, and empower the residents of Peel to be stewards of the natural environment, to help grow the health and sustainability of our communities, and to make choices that combat climate change  
 
Campaigns support three central goals in Peel:  
* To limit the effects of urbanization on our natural environment  
* To make Peel more walkable, bikeable and liveable by promoting efficient transit systems, destination pathways, and share-the-road infrastructure  
* To work with local stakeholders to protect and enhance green space, forests, natural wildlife corridors, and river valleys such as the Credit River, Etobicoke Creek and Humber River
