DescriptionRegional public health department * provides services to protect the public from communicables diseases and sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

Healthy Sexuality Clinics provide counselling for birth control * sexually transmitted infections (STIs) * anonymous HIV testing * pregnancy testing * sexual health * responsible relationships

- reduces the incidence of vaccine- preventable diseases and provides Hepatitis B vaccine and Meningococcal ACYW-135 vaccine to Grade 7 students and Human Papillomavirus vaccine to grade 8 female students through school-based clinics * provides seasonal influenza vaccine through community based clinics * provides access to the reporting and follow-up of reportable communicable diseases such as Tuberculosis, Hepatitis A & B and Meningitis * coordinates vaccine distribution to Peel physicians * monitors immunization records for all Region of Peel students * provides free immunization services to school aged children who do not have an OHIP number and do not have an immunization record and require proof of immunization to register for school
