DescriptionThe Ontario Self-Employment Benefit program (OSEB) - helps unemployed individuals take a seed of an idea and make it grow; provides up to one-year of mentoring and coaching, as well as workshops from business coaches * as part of the program, participants may receive income support and will develop business skills to turn an idea into a profitable venture * OSEB program offered by Job Skills in Mississauga, Brampton, North York and Newmarket

EligibilityCurrently unemployed 
Legally entitled to work in Canada 
Have established an Employment Insurance claim 
Or have a claim that has ended with the last 3 years 
Or have received maternity/parental benefits within the past 5 years after which they have remained out of the labour market to care for the child and are now seeking to re-enter the labour force
