| Description | Support group for parents of children (and adults) with severe (anaphylactic) food allergies. Meetings include parent support and guest speakers on various aspects of living with anaphylaxis. Examples include a community dietician, community allergist, paramedic services, food package labelling issues. Canadian Anaphylaxis Registry – free information service, provided by Anaphylaxis Canada, for people who are allergic to food, insect stings, medication, latex, or exercise * may also be of benefit to people who are intolerant or sensitive to foods * provides updates on food labelling and product alerts * latest research findings * tips for staying safe * school related issues * also available to schools, camps, media, and medical professionals | |||
