| Description | Job Skills delivers two self-employment programs from this location Self-Employment Benefits Program (SEB) - helps unemployed individuals take a seed of an idea and make it grow; provides up to one-year of mentoring and coaching, as well as workshops from business coaches * as part of the program, participants may receive income support and will develop business skills to turn an idea into a profitable venture * SEB Program offered in Mississauga, Brampton, North York and Newmarket Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) - opportunity for young entrepreneurs to create their own business * allows participants to explore new career and employment options * 24-week program combines in-class training, coaching and mentoring * 2nd phase of program includes a skilled business coach guiding the participant with their business ideas from concepts to reality * financial support may be available to eligible participants | |||
