Services offered include:

Provides outpatient services for children and adolescents (up to 19yrs), and their families. Children must have either a diagnosed psychiatric condition, or significant symptoms or unusual behaviour indicative of a psychiatric condition. Treatment may include individual, family or group therapy, psychiatric assessment, psychological testing and medication consultation and follow up. Services also include community outreach, education and collaboration with other agencies and schools.

Also offers a Rapid Response Team for children, which accepts referrals directly from CIT staff in the Emergency Care Centre and the inpatient Pediatric Unit of Trillium Health Centre. This rapid access to outpatient services can either provide an alternative to hospitalization or decrease the length of a hospital admission, when appropriate.

This service is one of six agencies to launch a ONE PHONE NUMBER approach to enable easier access to mental health services in the community for children and youth.
