This is a 217 acre floodplain with wetlands and natural areas. It is a popular spot for catfish and bass fishing and stocked trout in the two warm water ponds. Small fishing piers available. It also provides access to the Credit River for trout fishing, and to the Trans Canada Trail and the Caledon Trailway for hiking and cycling. Snacks and bait available. |

This Conservation Area offers the following recreational activities: 1) Cross Country Skiing and Tobogganing - 27 km of groomed, track set cross country trails. Refreshment facilities. Offers trails for beginners, intermediate, expert-level with ski rentals and heated chalet. 2) Camping - Family & group camping. Over 230 campsites most with water and electrical hookups. Nightly, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates. 3) Fishing - angling fee 4) Swimming - The Lakeview Splash water-play facility now open with 4ft deep wading pool with splash pad; 5) Hiking & Bird Watching - 27 km of marked, cut trails; 6) Mountain Biking - 20 km of marked, cut trails. 7) Picnic Area - Picnic tables, large barbecues, and shelters. Group picnic sites can be reserved. 8) Paddle Boat and Canoe Rentals. 9) Banquet Hall and Meeting Room rental - Chalet can be reserved. Can accommodate up to 135 guests. At the crossroads of the Oak Ridges Moraine and Niagara Escarpment, Glen Haffy offers spectacular vistas of rolling hills and green valleys. Glen Haffy is known for its trout fishing ponds, which are stocked regularly from the fish hatcheries located at Glen Haffy. Fishing equipment is available for rent, as well as group picnic sites. There are hiking trails to explore that meander through forested areas. Those avid about fly fishing can join the Glen Haffy Flyfishing Club, and receive a key to the park and free access to the facility. Other benefits of joining this club are access to row boats, the log cabin and barbeque. Organized groups are welcome to rent trout ponds.
