Helps children learn more positive ways of dealing with problems. Program is aimed at bolstering children's self-esteem, ability to deal with conflict, and of increasing socially appropriate behaviour. Kids learn how to communicate their feelings effectively, handle conflict through problem-solving rather than fighting, and listen and follow through at home and in school. The program is not suitable for children with development disorder, pervasive development disorder, profound hearing or sight loss, serious medical conditions or a history of significant traumatic head injury.

Peel Health offers free prenatal classes for pregnant teens and young women including: PRENATAL CLASSES FOR PREGNANT TEENS Free prenatal education classes for pregnant teens and young women. Topics covered include: pregnancy and childbirth; caring for you and your baby; community resources and services. Offered at various locations. Come for prenatal classes, supper and learn to stay healthy during pregnancy; cope with labour and delivery; learn to care for your newborn; learn to cook easy meals; meet other new moms over dinner; talk with Public Health Nurses and other health care professionals. Prenatal Supper Clubs are operated by Best Start Health Coalition in Peel and are supported, in part, by Peel Public Health.
